Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther is something like a nightmare for other latest flicks as it seems the case at the moment. The historical blockbuster phenomenon, has now become the first movie after 2009’s all-time hit, Avatar, to top the weekend box-office for 5 straight weeks since its release, and overall, it’s the 11th movie to do so-in the last 30 years!

The film is already a ‘billion dollar’ success, being the 5th MCU film to topple the magnificent mark.

The global collections for Black Panther now stand tall at around $1.182.5 billion and trade analysts are now even predicting that it will break 2013’s Iron Man 3’s record of being the highest grossing single-superhero flick in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Domestically the figures have reached over a mammoth $605 million, while the international earnings have also been staggering.

The film is just not going to stop at least for the next two weeks (probably), as another $100 million seem to be certain for this superhero ‘Marvel’.
