The first trailer for The House with a Clock in its wall has been released by Universal Pictures, its distributing studio. The movie, directed by Eli Roth, stars acclaimed actress Cate Blanchett (last seen in Marvel’s blockbuster Thor: Ragnarok) and Jack Black, among others.
Here’s the official synopsis for the film-
The magical adventure tells the spine-tingling tale of 10-year-old Lewis (Owen Vaccaro) who goes to live with his uncle in a creaky old house with a mysterious tick-tocking heart. But his new town’s sleepy façade jolts to life with a secret world of warlocks and witches when Lewis accidentally awakens the dead.
The movie is based on a novel by the same name, by John Bellairs and will be released on September 21st, 2018.
