Marvel Studios’s Avengers Infinity War is, still, slowly approaching the mammoth total of $2.068 billion, set by Star Wars: The Force Awakens, back in 2015-16. The 19th MCU super blockbuster flick has already stunned everyone who thought that a superhero film won’t ever make it to $2 billion.
Meanwhile, Infinity War has so far grossed around $668 million domestically, while globally it has now reached to around or close to $2.028 billion!
Talking about another Marvel movie, but distributed by 20th Century Fox, Deadpool 2 has crossed $300 million domestically and it’s the third movie this year to do so after MCU’s Black Panther and Avengers 3. Interestingly, only these three movies have made it to $300 million or above in the U.S.
But there’s the fourth superhero movie too which has now taken over the box office very rapidly and that is the super sequel to 2004’s The Incredibles–Incredibles 2!
Yes, being a Disney film, it has impressed the audiences as well as the critics too, and is going strongly now, in the US. Though, Incredibles 2 fell about 66% this week than its monstrous 180+ million domestic debut last weekend. Still, the animated feature film will become the fourth flick to cross the $300 million mark in just about 10 days (certainly)! Currently, the Brad Bird directorial has grossed around $294 million in just 8 days.
