It was a blissful moment for Tamil movie buffs on hearing the news of a fantastic duo teaming up again. Jyothika and Ilayathalapathy Vijay are rumored to be sharing screen space after 14 long years.

While Thalapathy fans haven’t yet calmed down from the ‘Bairava’ fever, this news about Vijay’s 61st movie (Vijay61) came in as an icing to the cake. The much expected untitled Vijay61 directed by Raja Rani fame Atlee is creating lots of speculations around K’town. With Theri being a box office record breaker, this is one of the most expected releases of 2017, after Rajinikanth’s 2.0 and Vijay’s soon-to-be released ‘Bairava’.
It is a well known fact that Atlee is a star cast director. Beginning from his debut movie, the mega blockbuster ‘Raja Rani’, his casting was talked about in special. Vijay61 is no less than Atlee’s preceding movies. While the movie was already on news on roping in Kajal Agarwal and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, the latest talk in tinsel town is that, the movie would feature one of the leading on-screen couples of early 2000’s; Vijay and Jyothika. The duo is still known for ‘Kushi’ which was one biggest commercial hits of its time.
Sadly, the crew has not yet released an official announcement on this matter. Recalling that all 6 movies of Vijay with these three beautiful women (2 with each of them) witnessed tremendous success at the box office as well as with the critics, all Thalapathy fans are fingers crossed to re-expierience the magic. Movie buffs are keenly watching out for even the tiniest of information from the crew.
