Mannequin challenge is driving everyone crazy. Celebrities, sports figures, activists and politicians have gone viral with this challenge.

This challenge, started by students in Jacksonville, Florida, was trending soon after it was posted. In this challenge, people remain frozen in action like mannequins while a moving camera films them.

There were several trending ones, that went viral. To stand still is indeed a great challenge. But, the greatest challenge is to stay frozen in a place which defies gravity.

After tiresome work for five days, the astronauts in expedition, took off to celebrate the New Year eve with this challenge. Frozen like mannequins rather than floating in the micro-gravity, they trended among the netizens. The astronauts nailed it, taking this challenge to a all new level.

Thomas Pesquet, one of the six crew members from ESA filmed the challenge, while the others stayed frozen. The crew includes, Robert S. Kimbrough and Peggy Whitson of NASA, and Sergey, Andrei, Oleg of RSA. They are on an ISS Expedition that started late in October, 2016. Filming it 250 miles above earth, it went viral within few seconds of getting into twitter.

The French astronaut took it to twitter, “We got the whole crew together and took the #MannequinChallenge to new heights #Proxima”, on December 30. He also tweeted in French.

The crew recently celebrated Christmas and received gifts from the Japanese Cargo Spaceship.

Now the netizens are trying to pull up new challenge, as this challenge has already reached the final frontier. Hope there are still more new challenges in 2017.
