NextGen Computer
In a bid to make the world smarter, Intel has introduced its new credit-card sized computers. They said these computers could fit right into our wallets. Also, termed the ‘Compute Cards’, these miniature computers would be of great use to people aiming to make their workplace and homes connected.
Measuring 95x55x5 (mm), this Compute Card is capable of fitting into our pockets, and being powerful enough to manage a wider range of everyday tasks. It has encapsulated the 5 vital features that are the basic requirements of any smart device today. They are packed together with the CPU, GPU, RAM, storage and wireless connectivity.
Though, Intel created lots of speculations with these vibrant features, it failed to detail on the speed of the device. So, its wiser not to dream about this Compute Card as an alternative to our laptops and PC’s. But, using these Compute Cards the problem of staying updated with the current hardware is solved. By configuring these cards on our laptops or TV’s we can experience their hardware features.
The Compute Card comes with USB and HDMI connection, meaning that it should be able to sync up to most of the items around your home or office. Intel says that the new device will also be able to run Windows or Linux software, so wouldn’t be any issues probably. Surprisingly, Intel announced that it had already tied up with PC giants like Dell, HP and Lenovo. They are said to be launched by the middle of this year.
