Google recently announced its plans to start rolling out the latest android. Android Nougat the latest version brings a lot of new features to Android. In a few easy steps anybody can enjoy the new features of Android Nougat.
Android is one of the most popular OS because of its ability to be customised. Developers and enthusiasts can reconfigure their phones to their liking. Likewise different communities release their own custom ROM’s. These custom ROM’s when flashed on to a phone will give a phone the latest version of Android. But these ROM’s are sometimes not so stable and can crash the phone. Be sure to select a stable ROM to flash.
These ROM’s have their advantages as well. With an unlocked Bootloader and root accesses, gives you more control on your phone. Better battery life, better control on phone’s performance, with many more customization options.
Fair Warning: Even though there is a very small chance but rooting and flashing a custom ROM can damage your phone.
Now, Android Nougat has been rolled out for a select few phones only, but you can get its features using a custom ROM.
In the following steps, i’ll explain the basic steps:
Very Important! Back up all your data that include photos, calendar, contacts anything important on to your computer before proceeding further.
Also, Charge your phone to at least 80-100% to finish the process without running out of juice.
Step 1: Find a ROM for your phone and download it. Every phone model has its own ROM, I suggest heading to XDA developers to find the latest ROM for your phone. Link:

Step 2: You will need to unlock your phone’s bootloader for this process. Its an easy process. You will only need Android SDK files and for some manufactures unlock key as well.
Before the next step make sure you have TWRP Clockwordmod Recovery and the custom ROM zip file on your phone.
Step 3: Boot in to recovery mode. Just hold Volume up and power button to boot in to the recovery mode. Select the install option and select the Rom zip file.
Step 4: Select the wipe option to clear the cache. Next, just power on your phone the normal way. This process may take some time so chill!
Voila! you have the latest features of Android Nougat without having to wait for Google. Now the above process is the basic way and can differ for Phones make sure to read all instructions before proceeding.
