Taiwanese computer hardware manufacturer Acer on Monday expanded its gaming series notebook portfolio with the launch of a new budget gaming notebook, called the “Nitro 5” in the Indian tech market with a starting price of Rs. 75,990. The starting model of the Acer Nitro 5 comes with a price tag of Rs. 75,990 and goes all the way up to Rs 94,500. Carried such an attractive price tag, the new Acer Nitro 5 will be made available for purchase in India starting today exclusively via e-commerce website Flipkart.com and all Acer Stores across the country in matte black colour option. The Nitro 5 gaming machine is specially designed for casual gamers and enthusiasts, as it comes packed with dedicated gaming powers. Apart from this, the Nitro 5 houses dual fans with Acer Coolboost technology for the gaming device’s thermal solution. The company says that the technology will be able to deliver heightened fan speeds and cooling ability, and will also allow the users to control the cooling process manually when necessary.

The Acer Nitro 5 sports a matte black chassis with a hairline finish and a sleek red painted hinge runs on top of the bold air grille vent, giving it an overall futuristic and premium outlook. The latest gaming laptop features a bright Red Backlit keyboard, WASD keys and a smooth Multi Gesture touchpad, which is also outlined in red.
Technically speaking, the Acer Nitro 5 comes equipped with a 15.6-inch full-HD Backlit IPS display with a screen resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. Under the hood, the machine is powered by the 7th generation Intel Core i7 or 7th generation Intel Core i5 processors clubbed with 4GB of DDR5 RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card for ultra-smooth and flawless visuals. The machine can be further configured with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti graphics card and 16GB DDR5 RAM. In terms of storage, you can opt for a 1TB 5400 RPM HDD, or upgrade to 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD combo for faster data access speeds and boot-up times.
