As known already, filmmaker A. R. Murugadoss will begin production on his upcoming next tentatively titled Thalapathy 62 in early 2018 with Vijay playing the lead role. Vijay 62 will be the third time these two are reuniting for a project after their previous blockbuster successes in the form of Thuppakki and Kaththi.
Meanwhile, rumors have already started popping up regarding A. R. Murugadoss’s next after the completion of Vijay 62. As per word across certain sections of the media, it is being stated that the Spyder filmmaker will reunite with Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar for the remake of the acclaimed Hollywood film, Million Dollar Baby, which starred Clint Eastwood and Hillary Swank.
Meanwhile, those rumors have reportedly been squashed after word has now come out that no such project is in the pipeline and ARM is completely focused on getting Thalapathy 62 on the right track come this January.
