“Power cannot be given, it has to be taken…..”, it’s time for an another instalment of the successful “Sarkar” franchise. Sarkar franchise which casts Amitabh Bachchan as Sarkar looks even more intense and intriguing in it’s third part. Amitabh Bachchan will continue in his titular role of Subash Nagre.
There are new characters added to the life of Sarkaar, we have Amit Sadh, as the dashing
grandson of Subash Nagre, film also has Yami Gautam as Annu Karkare, who wants to avenge the death of her father. One of the worth mentioning looks from Sarkar 3 is of Manoj Bajpee, which apparently is inspired by Arvind Kejriwal. Jackie Shroff has joined the antagonist camp with his character being called Sir and this camp also has veteran actress, Rohini Hattangadi as Rukku Bai Devi. The handsome Ronit Roy on other hand plays Sarkar’s
most trusted associate, Gokul Satam. And last but not the least, we have Bharat Dabholkar as Gorakh Rampur whose loyalty has not been revealed yet.
The story will follow Subash Nagre( Amitabh Bachchan ) after the death of his both sons Vishnu ( Kay Kay Menon ) and Shankar ( Abhishek Bachchan ). Amit Sadh aka Cheeku will portray the role of Sarkar’s grandson. On being asked as to how it feels to be a part of this successful franchise, he replied, “With utmost humility and gratitude, I don’t have the capacity to ‘choose’ this film. I don’t think I could be a part of this universe with Mr.Bachchan. I am very grateful to Ramu sir and Amit sir”.
The tagline says, ‘Angrier Than Ever’ and indeed, the angry faces of all lead actors on
the poster proves it. Previous parts of this franchise had given audience some of the worth remembering dialogues like ‘Mujhe jo sahi lagta hai mein karta hoon….’. Let us see that if Sarkar 3 lives up to expectations. Release date of Sarkar 3 is stated to be 7 April 2017.
