Prior to May 11, the anticipation for the teaser of Ajith’s upcoming film Vivegam was sky-high. And, ever since the clock struck 12AM on the said date, the reception for it has been quite magical.
Not only did the teaser show the star in full flair mouthing what were powerful and inspirational words, but it also established the fact that the film is undoubtedly one of the biggest in expectations.
And, with that said, the Vivegam teaser has hit a new high with over 400,000 likes on the popular video-sharing website YouTube and becomes the second Tamil film after ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth’s Kabali last year to scale this achievement.
Directed by Siva, Vivegam slated for an August release has ‘Thala’ Ajith playing an Interpol officer along with Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan as the female leads and Vivek Oberoi as the antagonist under the Sathya Jyothi Films banner with a musical score by Anirudh Ravichander.
With the tremendous outpouring of love for the teaser alone, one thing is quite clear – Vivegam, Ajith’s first release in two years after his Vedalam is no doubt going to be a landmark film.
