As we all know that ‘Justice League failed to become The Avengers for DCEU‘, and also had a disappointing box-office run, now the biggest question in mind of all the fans and people is, will Ben Affleck be returning as the Batman, in upcoming DC films?
Well, this is the foremost important question at the moment which has gone back and forth. Sometimes it seemed like Affleck will be sticking to the caped crusader’s suit and sometimes it looked like other actors were being looked out, for the ultimate big screen Bruce Wayne!
But now, giving the rumors and all questions, a further push, the Justice League actor, Ben Affleck himself has spoken on his Batman future.
In a recent interaction with online portal, Daily Sabah, Affleck told that from now on, his future with DCEU could go anywhere!
Affleck said, “For me, it’s interesting, and I always evaluate this stuff on the merit of the material. I want to direct a Batman movie, and I never got a script that I was happy with, so they are starting over and writing another script. And right now, I think a lot of different possibilities I think for the way the DC Universe could go, and I will just follow my interests in pursing that. And I know that I love working with this group of people, and it was a real joy for me to make this movie.”
When being asked whether if he wants to be the Dark Knight, under Matt Reeves’s direction, if it happens to be, the actor replied, “With Matt Reeves doing it, I would be an ape on the ground for Matt Reeves, nevermind being Batman.”
