‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth’s Kaala officially began rolling from yesterday (May 28) in Mumbai and the complete cast for this Pa. Ranjith directorial under Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films banner with a musical score by Santhosh Narayanan has now been announced.
It has now been confirmed that Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi will play the female lead opposite Rajini along with Samuthirakani, Nana Patekar, Anjali Patil, Easwari Rao, Chennai 28 fame Aravind Akash, Ravi Kale, Shayaji Shinde, Pankaj Tripathy, Mahi Mahija, Major Bikramjith, Arul Doss, Vathikuchi Dileepan, Ramesh Thilak, Manikandan, Arundhati, Sakshi Agarwal, Nithish, Velu, Jeya Perumal, Karuppu Nambiar, Yathin Karyakar, Raj Madhan and Suganya forming the remainder of the supporting cast.
This first schedule in Mumbai for Kaala is said to last for 40 straight days after which the team will return to Chennai to continue the shoot at a gigantic set that is being erected at a reputed studio on the outskirts of the city.
With such a powerhouse cast, we can expect a cracker of the film by the time Kaala arrives in theatres.
