Huawei’s sub-brand Honor on Thursday expanded its product portfolio with the launch of two new mid-range tablets — Honor MediaPad T3 and Honor MediaPad T3 10 – in the Indian tech market. Alongside, the company has also launched a new smartphone, called the “Honor 9i” and a 10,000mAh Quick Charge Power Bank. As for pricing and availability, the Honor MediaPad T3 has been launched in the country with a price tag of Rs. 12,999, while the Honor MediaPad T3 10 comes with a starting price of Rs. 14,999. The MediaPad T3 10 comes in two variants based on its RAM and internal storage configuration: MediaPad T3 10 with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage is priced at Rs. 14,999, while for the top-end variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, you have to pay Rs. 16,999. Both the tablets will be made available for purchase in India exclusively via e-commerce website Flipkart.com. Interestingly, Flipkart is selling the MediaPad T3 10 tablet at a discounted price tag of Rs. 12,999 (16GB model) and Rs. 14,999 (32GB model) respectively. All these newly launched tablets come with a metal body, pre-installed Microsoft Office and Kids Corner apps, Android 7.0 Nougat OS, Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC and support for 4G LTE with voice calling capabilities.

Starting with the Honor MediaPad T3, the tablet sports an 8-inch HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels. Under the hood, the tablet is powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor coupled with Adreno 308 GPU to handle the graphics. In terms of memory, the device is backed up by a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.
Talking about its software fonts, the MediaPad T3 runs Google’s Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with company’s latest EMUI 5.1 custom UI skin running on top of the device. In terms of photography, the MediaPad T3 comes with a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus. Talking about its selfie camera, the tablet sports a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for making video calls and capturing selfies.
In terms of connectivity, the MediaPad T3 supports various connectivity options including 4G LTE with voice calling, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/A-GPS, a 3.5 mm audio jack and a microUSB 2.0 port for charging and data transfer. Sensors on the device include an Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, and Proximity sensor. On the battery front, the tablet is fuelled by a high-density 4800mAh Li-ion Polymer battery. Dimensionally, the tablet measures at 211.07 x 124.65 x 7.95 mm and weighs 350 grams.

Moving on to the Honor MediaPad T3 10, the digital slate flaunts a 9.6-inch HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 1280 X 800 pixels. The display has a 16:10 aspect ratio and offers 50 percent NTSC colour gamut. Talking about its power and performance, the Honor MediaPad T3 10 sips its power from a 1.4GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, coupled with dedicated GPU to handle the graphics. In terms of memory storage, the tablet is backed by a 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. On the software front, the device also runs company’s own EMUI 5.1 custom UI skin, based on Google’s Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
In terms of optics, the Honor MediaPad T3 10 sports a 5-megapixel autofocus rear-facing camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video chats.
