Domestic handset manufacturer Lava will soon launch a new budget-friendly 4G enabled smartphone, called Lava A77 in India with entry-level specifications. The Lava A77, it is a downgraded version of its sibling, Lava A73 that was unveiled in India back in February. The new Lava A77 smartphone might be priced at Rs. 4,999, and will be made available for purchase via all offline retail stores across the country, according to a Mumbai-based handset retailer, Mahesh Telecom.

Lava A77 smartphone specifications and features:
In terms of specifications, the Lava A77 will sport a 4.5-inch FWVGA display with a screen resolution of 480×854 pixels. The smartphone will be powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832 processor along with Mali-400 GPU to handle the graphics. In terms of memory, the device comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of native storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. Talking about its software front, the phone will run Google’s Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.
In terms of photography, the new Lava A77 features a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for capturing selfies and video calling. Both rear and front-facing shooter, comes with LED flashlight.
In terms of connectivity, the dual SIM A77 will offer options including 4G VoLTE connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm audio port, GPS, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port for charging and data transfer. A 2000mAh battery will provide power the entire smartphone. The handset measures at 135 x 67.2 x 9.5 mm and weighs about 140 grams. The Lava A77 will be available in Gold, Blue, and Grey colour options.
