Lindsay Lohan, who is remembered for her iconic role in Mean Girls movie, is now back to living a normal life after a long period of struggle with her own personal troubles.
And it’s obvious now that the Freaky Friday star desperately wants to shift her career on the right track, by doing better films and roles.
So, in doing the same, the actress now wants to be the ‘Batgirl’ in DC’s yet unannounced solo superhero movie, which is to be directed by Joss Whedon.
Yes, you heard that right. In fact, Lohan just recently tweeted to director Whedon, showing her interest in playing the lead role in the Batgirl film! Although, there hasn’t been any reply so far from Whedon.

While, it’s still unclear whether DC will really make the rumored Batgirl film or not, it will be really interesting to see if Joss Whedon himself wants to have Lindsay playing the caped female superhero or not!
But it can’t be ruled out as a possibility, since many past choices for a character’s role in superhero films have received backlash, but only to see them win the hearts of everyone, later on. Whether it was Heath Ledger’s casting as The Joker or Gal Gadot’s selection as Wonder Woman, the result is known to everyone.
