All the cards are on deck for Vijay 61 which is set to have a grand Diwali release this year. With the film’s first look set to be unveiled on June 22 on the occasion of the film’s star Vijay’s birthday, the audio launch for the film will follow suit in the month of August.
That said, Thalapathy 61 being directed by Atlee under the Thenandal Studios Limited banner featuring a musical score by A. R. Rahman is fast progressing towards the stages of full fledged post-production with filming taking place at breakneck speed.
Meanwhile, Vijay 61 producer Hema Rukmani, during an interaction with fans on Twitter replied saying the film is going to be nothing, but “mind-blowing” and will be a definite “treat for Vijay fans”.
Thalapathy 61 will see Vijay in triple roles for the first time in his career along side Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menen and Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the female leads, SJ Suryah as the antagonist, Sathyaraj, Vadivelu, Sathyan and Yogi Babu in important supporting roles.
