The teaser for Vijay’s Mersal, which came out last month went on to receive a thunderous response among fans of the star as well as a double thumbs up from the general moviegoers.
As known already, the teaser went on to shatter records front and back and earned the tag of becoming the most liked and the fastest in India to garner over 10 million views on YouTube.
Fast forward nearly a month later with less than 3 days of the film’s announced release date, Vijay fans now have a new reason to cheer.
It has officially been declared now that the Mersal teaser has crossed more than 1 million likes on YouTube to become the most liked and the first to hit this mark in the world.
This is indeed a tremendous boost for the makers in light of the film scheduled for release on October 18.
