Nintendo on Monday announced a new mini console, dubbed as the “Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) Classic, which will make its debut in the US market on September 29, 2017. Super NES Classic is the successor to the company’s previous highly successful NES Classic Edition, which was launched by Nintendo more than 25 years ago. The new Nintendo SNES Classic will be available at a price tag of $80 (approximately Rs. 5,150).
Unlike its predecessor (NES Classic includes 30 games), the Nintendo SNES Classic will come bundled with 21 excellent games including Earthbound, Super Mario World, Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. The game list will also include the never-before-released Star Fox 2, but to gain access to the unreleased title, you will have to unlock it through playing the original Star Fox game. The Super NES Classic Edition will ship with an HDMI cable, a USB charging cable & AC adapter, and two wired Super NES Classic controllers for playing multiplayer games.
