For the first time ever it has happened in Bollywood that a Biopic movie is being made on an actor who is alive perhaps the one who is still an active actor. The Biopic on Sanjay Dutt is surely going to sparkle like a star in the Box Office.
Tentatively titled Dutt, the film will focus on Sanjay’s formative years, his relation with his father Sunil Dutt, his struggles coping up with the loss of his mother, his many affairs, etc.
The Biopic directed by Rajkumar Hirani has been already hyped since the movie was confirmed. The shooting began a little while ago and reports to be believed, Ranbir Kapoor will be portraying the role of Sanjay Dutt.
Also, it’s been said that Manisha Koirala will be playing Nargis. Whereas Paresh Rawal is believed to play Sunil Dutt, it also includes Anushka Sharma, Dia Mirza, Sonam Kapoor, Jim Sarabh and Vicky Kaushal.
Reportedly, Ranbir has been spending long hours in the gym to bulk up and look as close to Sanjay Dutt as possible. From his mannerisms to body language to his gait, the young actor has completely soaked the personality of Dutt in his early days.
His drug addiction and rehabilitation, his super strong comeback from the massive disaster, his involvement in the Bombay serial blasts, arrest under TADA (Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act). The amount of drama and masala in his life is a perfect formula for a biopic movie.
The movie is said to be not from the genre of drugs or underworld but entirely different something about families, his struggles with life.
As of now, Dutt is scheduled to release around Christmas this year.
