The South Korean tech-giant and smartphone maker, Samsung has today (Friday) launched a new mid-segment and smaller model of its C Series of phablets, called the Galaxy C7 Pro smartphone in India at a price tag of Rs 27,990. This is Samsung’s second launch of its new Galaxy C series of phablets in India with the Galaxy C9 Pro, which being launched in January 2017 at a price of Rs 36,990. After three months, the company (Samsung Mobile India) has finally announced this Galaxy C7 Pro in India at a press event in New Delhi. The Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro will be selling exclusively through the e-commerce website Amazon.in from April 11 in Navy Blue and Gold colour variants.

The design and construction of the Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro is similar to what we have on the Galaxy C9 Pro. The dual-SIM (Nano-SIM) Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro, that runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, comes in a full-metal unibody design and just 7mm slim, an Always-on display, a fingerprint scanner on the home button, and Samsung Pay support.

Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro specifications and features:-

The Samsung C7 Pro sports a 5.7-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) Super AMOLED 2.D Curved Glass display, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Under the hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor that houses an octa-core CPU with Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and Adreno 530 GPU. On the storage front, it packs with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, that can be further expanded to 256GB via a microSD card. On the software front, the Galaxy C7 Pro runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box with a Samsung, TouchWiz UI on the top.

In terms of photography, the Galaxy C7 Pro features a 16-megapixel rear camera sensor as well as a 16-megapixel front camera sensor both with an f/1.9 aperture lens for taking great pictures even in low light conditions. The rear camera comes equipped with dual-LED flash and PDAF (phase detection autofocus), which allow users to capture bright and clear photographs. The front-facing camera offers pre-installed beautifying effects for superior selfie experience. Both cameras are capable of recording full-HD (1080p) videos at 30 frames per second. The floating camera button in Galaxy C7 Pro enables users to take a photo at ease with single hand.

On the connectivity front, the Galaxy C7 Pro features a hybrid dual-SIM configuration, 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, Samsung Pay and a USB Type-C reversible port for charging and data transfer. Sensors on board are fingerprint (front-mounted), accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, geomagnetic and RGB light sensor. The Galaxy C7 Pro is fuelled by a non-removable 3300 mAh Li-Ion battery with fast charging support. And the company claims that the device can charge from 0 to 100 percent in just 100 minutes. The handset measures 156.5 x 77.2 x 7.0 mm and weighs 172 grams.
