The South-Korean giant, Samsung was expected to launch the flagship phone Galaxy S8 at the upcoming annual technology trade show Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 in Barcelona, however we know that is not happening. The launch is officially planned for March 29th in New York City and make it available for purchase on April 21, and we already know a lot about the upcoming flagship.

Earlier this week, a Chinese tipster [(the popular Twitter spy, Evan Blass (aka @evleaks)] revealed that the Chinese and South Korean markets will get the devices with 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage Galaxy S8 model. And according to the leak, Europe and the rest of the world will get the Galaxy S8 with 4GB of RAM / 64GB of internal storage. Users will be able to choose between 64GB and 128GB of internal storage. Now, the price and availability details have also been revealed by him.

A recent leak has suggested prices for those models, with a South Korean source claiming the price for the 64GB/6GB of RAM Galaxy S8 model will be around CNY 6,088 (Rs. 59,000 or $885), while for the 128GB/6GB of RAM model it said to be priced at CNY 6,488 (Rs. 63,000 or $943). The pricing details for the 4GB+64GB Samsung Galaxy S8 model is not known, but earlier rumors have suggested it will cost around 850 euros or $916.

Last week, the prolific tipster Evan Blass shared the expected price by saying that both models will go on sale from April 21, and that they will cost around $107 (roughly Rs. 7248) more than their predecessors – which would mean the 6.2-inch model will be priced at $969 (roughly Rs. 65,400) and the 5.8-inch model will come at a price of $861 (roughly Rs. 58,100).

According to latest leaks from an industry insider, the Galaxy S8 will come equipped with Dual ADC support for its camera, which should in theory enable better color depth. Samsung is believed to feature its Dual Pixel technology in the rear cam and may make the new one even better than its predecessor in terms of image and video stabilization, autofocus and as well as pixel density. The front camera will be combined with an Iris Recognition sensor and will act as another mode of biometric authentication.

Both S8 models may have AMOLED (an almost bezel-less display) screens and the screens will take up 83% of the front panel of the device. And, the S8s will have screens that curve down at the right and left sides of the device, similar to the Galaxy S7 edge, according to BGR reports. Other Galaxy S8 rumors point to an edge-to-edge display up front with a home button integrated into the screen, a fingerprint scanner in the back and a new AI assistant to go up against Apple’s Siri, thought to be called “Bixby”.

Which includes 3,250 mAh battery for the Galaxy S8 and 3,750 mAh battery for Galaxy S8 Plus, which are bigger than the 3,000 mAh and 3,600 mAh found in the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge.
