Tiger Zinda Hai is just continuing to roar and soar on the box-office mountain! The last, big release of 2017 has turned out to be a real ‘Christmas gift’ for not only the fans of Salman Khan, but for Salman too! The records have been shattered and with that the dry run for Bollywood flicks on the box-office, this year, has also ended.
Tiger Zinda Hai raked in a massive Rs.114.93 crore in the opening weekend! And its also become the highest earning ‘Hindi’ film in the opening weekend itself! Well, Bahubali 2: The Conclusion is an exception here since it grossed a record Rs.128 crore during its opening week, being released in four languages.
Tiger Zinda Hai had a big opening of Rs.34 crore on its first day (December 22nd), and it grew even more stronger on Saturday and Sunday, taking in a fantastic Rs.35.30 crore and Rs.45.53 crore, respectively-leading its total weekend collections to approx. Rs.115 crore.
This shows that the ‘bad reviews’ by critics have not affected the audiences in anyway possible, and they are going in large numbers to watch Salman-Katrina’s biggest blockbuster of the year yet!
The movie will surely set some new box-office records, with a longer span in the theaters.
