In order to celebrate India’s festival of lights, Diwali or Deepawali, India’s second largest telecom operator, Vodafone India on Saturday introduced an affordable prepaid recharge plan, called the ‘Vodafone Rs. 399 Prepaid Recharge’ plan for its prepaid subscribers. The new Vodafone Rs. 399 prepaid recharge plan offers its prepaid subscribers unlimited voice calling (all network Local + STD) and 90GB 4G mobile internet data with a validity of six months or 168 days. According to a report by The Indian Express, all Vodafone prepaid customers can avail this offer and they will also have an option to consume 90GB data in just a single day or use it over the dedicated period of 6 months.
Under this “Rs. 399” recharge scheme, Vodafone prepaid subscribers recharging with Rs. 399 can avail free unlimited voice calling to any network and any region (Local + STD) in the country, along with 90GB of 3G or 4G (depending on the circle) mobile data per day for a period of six months or 168 days. All Vodafone prepaid subscribers having 4G-enabled handsets with 4G SIMs can avail this offer and enjoy the company’s best value voice and data proposition in the said period.
With the launch of its new Rs. 399 Prepaid Recharge offer, the British telecom operator is aggressively going to compete against its rival telecom operators — Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, Idea Cellular, and others. Needless to say, in the Indian telecom industry, the “disruptive” entry of Reliance Jio is a great momentum behind the new-age price war. Reliance Jio created a small wave in the telecom market by introducing its highly affordable voice and data-centric combo plans. Reliance Jio has changed the entire telecom industry with its affordable tariff plans and forced the other telecom giants to reduce their data and calling rates.
Talking about Reliance Jio’s new Dhan Dhana Dhan offer, Jio Prime members recharging with Rs. 399 can avail free unlimited voice calling (local and STD), free SMSes, and 1GB 4G mobile data per day for a period of 84 days (total 84GB data for 84days). The plan also comes bundled with a suite of Reliance Jio apps including MyJio, JioMusic, JioTV, JioCinema, JioXpressNews, HelloJio, JioVideoCall, JioShare, JioGames, and more.
Interestingly, the Mukesh Ambani-led company has recently announced a mouth-watering offer on this recharge plan. Reliance Jio prepaid customers now can avail 100 percent cash back on every recharge with Rs. 399. However, the cashback offer is valid for the period of October 12 and October 18. The new offer will be effective from October 19 and can be availed from the Reliance Jio store, Reliance Digital store, MyJio app, Jio.com, Partner retail stores, or via various wallets like JioMoney, Paytm, Mobikwik, Amazon Paym or PhonePe.
To counter Reliance Jio’s “Dhan Dhana Dhan” offer, Vodafone India on today launched the similar kind of recharge plan at Rs. 399.
Like Vodafone and Reliance Jio, Indian telecom giant Bharti Airtel also launched a new recharge plan, called “Rs. 399 Plan” for their prepaid subscribers. Under the “Airtel Rs. 399” recharge plan, Airtel prepaid subscribers recharging with Rs. 399 can avail free unlimited voice calling to any network and any region (Local + STD) in the country, along with 1GB of 3G or 4G (depending on the circle) mobile data per day for a period of 84 days, totalling 84GB 3G/4G data for the period. All Airtel prepaid subscribers having 4G-enabled handsets with 4G SIMs can avail this offer and enjoy the company’s value for money offer in the said period.
