Xiaomi’s one of the better camera phones, last year was the Mi A1 and now its successor has made it way, eventually, in 2018. The Mi A2 was recently launched by the Chinese smartphone company in Spain, revealing its specs and also price tag (for Spanish markets). This version also is an Android One device, so regular OS updates will be there.

The launch event took place in Madrid, and the Mi A2 was launched as Mi 6X in Spain. Though, when coming to India next month, it will be called Mi A2, indeed.

Straightly coming to the specifications of the phone, then Mi A2 comes with a 18:9 display (5.99inch LCD panel), which has Full HD+ resolution. Good thing is that this time, screen protection is also provided, and that too with 2.5D Corning Gorilla 3.

Performance is taken care of by the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, combined with two options of RAM (4GB/6GB). Graphics are supported by Adreno 512 GPU.

On the camera front, Mi A2 is surely going to surprise, just like its predecessor Mi A1. The phone comes with dual rear camera setup of 20MP+12MP lenses. The aperture is large to help take great shots in low light. While on the front too there is a 20MP lens for taking amazing selfies. It also has a large aperture. And yes it supports bokeh effect too.

Well, talking about the price then in Spain the phone has been launched with a tag of 249 euros (Rs.20,000) for 4GB/32GB model and 279 euros (Rs.22,500) for the 4GB/64GB model. There is also the 6GB/128Gb model which is priced at 349 euros (Rs.28,100).

In India the Mi A2 will be arriving on August 8th, 2018.
