Home-bred handset manufacturer Xolo on Wednesday expanded its Era-series of smartphone portfolio with the launch of three new budget-friendly and also camera-centric smartphones – Xolo Era 3, Era 2V and Era 3X – in the Indian market. As for pricing, the Xolo Era 3 has been launched in the country with a price tag of Rs. 4,999, the Xolo Era 2V has been priced at Rs. 6,499, while for the top-spec model — Xolo Era 3X, you have to pay Rs. 7,499. All these newly launched smartphones come with Android 7.0 Nougat OS, MediaTek processor, improved camera setup with moonlight selfie flash, 365-days screen replacement guarantee and 4G VoLTE support for accessing faster data speeds. However, all these aforementioned Xolo Era series smartphones will be made available for purchase in India starting October 14 exclusively via e-commerce website Flipkart.com in various colour choice options.
Xolo Era 3 Specifications and Features:
Starting with the cheapest model, the Xolo Era 3 comes equipped with a 5-inch HD Oncell IPS display with a screen resolution of 1280 pixels by 720 pixels. Under the hood, the device is powered by a 1.25GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor coupled with Mali T720 GPU to handle the graphics. In terms of memory, the device is backed up by a 1GB of RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage that can be further expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. Talking about its software fronts, the dual-SIM Xolo Era 3 runs on Google’s Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box.
In terms of photography, the Xolo Era 3 features a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture, 4P Largan lens, autofocus, and an LED flash module. Talking about its software fronts, the Xolo Era 2V runs on Google’s Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the same 1.25GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor, which comes clubbed with Mali T720 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card.
