Earlier this month, Chinese smartphone brand 10.or (pronounced Tenor) officially marked its entry into the Indian smartphone market with the launch of a brand new budget-oriented “10.or E” smartphone in India. And now, the company on today launched an another budget-oriented smartphone, called the “10.or G” in the Indian smartphone market. The 10.or G comes in two variants based on its RAM and internal storage configuration: 10.or G with 3GB RAM & 32GB internal storage, and 10.or G with 4GB RAM & 64GB internal storage. As for pricing, the 10.or G with 3GB RAM & 32GB internal storage variant has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 10,999, while top-end variant with 4GB RAM & 64GB internal storage has been priced at Rs. 12,999. Both the variants are now available for pre-order in India on Amazon.in, while the smartphones will be going on sale in India starting October 3 (Tuesday) exclusively via e-commerce website Amazon India in Beyond Black and Go Grey colour options. The key highlights of the smartphone are its premium build quality, Android 7.1.2 Nougat OS (upgradable to Android 8.0 Oreo), dual rear camera setup and a powerful 4,000mAh battery.
As part of an introductory offer, the e-commerce giant is providing some interesting offers on the purchase of the 10.or G smartphone. The launch offers on the smartphone include no cost EMI option on all major credit cards, up to Rs. 1000 additional discount on old phone exchange, and 5 bestselling books worth Rs 395 free in the Kindle store.

As far as specifications are concerned, the 10.or G (Tenor G) comes equipped with a 5.5-inch full-HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top of the display. Under the hood, the device is powered by a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 octa-core chipset clubbed with Adreno 506 image processing unit. In terms of memory, the phone is backed up by a 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. Talking about its software fronts, the dual-SIM 10.or G (Tenor G) runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box with stock Android UI. The company has promised that the 10.or G will also get the regular security updates as well as Android’s next version Android 8.0 Oreo update pretty soon. The smartphone comes with a metal unibody design and features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, which the company claims it can unlock the device just within 0.2 seconds.
In terms of photography, the 10.or G a sports a dual rear camera setup that comes combined with one 13-megapixel RGB sensor and one 13-megapixel Monochrome sensor. The rear camera features also include PDAF, an f/2.0 aperture, 1.12μm pixel, and dual-tone LED flash for excellent low-light photography. On the front, the smartphone features a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with a soft LED flash light for capturing bright selfies even in low light conditions.
On the Connectivity front, the device supports dual-SIM dual standby connectivity using a Hybrid dual-SIM configuration (nano+nano/microSD). That means you can either use this smartphone as a dual-SIM phone without memory card option or single-SIM phone with memory card option. Apart from this, the smartphone also offers various connectivity options including 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.2, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a microUSB port for charging and other connectivity. On the battery front, the 10.or G comes packed with a mammoth 4,000mAh battery. Sensors on the smartphone include an Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor and Fingerprint (rear-mounted) sensor. Dimensionally, the handset measures 155 x 76 x 8.5mm and weighs 170 grams.
