Japanese imaging company Fujifilm on Thursday updated its Instax series instant camera catalogue with the launch of new “Instax Mini 9” camera in the Indian market. Priced at Rs. 5,999, the new Instax Mini 9 instant camera will go on sale in India pretty soon via both the online platforms and offline leading stores. The camera has been launched in India in five elegant body colours including Lime Green, Cobalt Blue, Ice Blue, Smoky White and Flamingo Pink. Instax Mini 9 is the successor to company’s previously launched Instax Mini 8, as the new instant camera also borrows same iconic design.
The Instax Mini 9 is the latest addition to the Fujifilm’s “Instax Mini” instant camera series, which further includes Mini 25, Mini 70, Mini 90, Wide 300 and mini hello kitty. Fujifilm says that the Instax mini 9 is specially designed for those, who love to take a selfie. Talking about its specifications, the Fujifilm Instax mini 9 comes equipped with a selfie mirror which has been placed close to the camera lens to offer some good angles for a better self-portrait. It also sports a close-up lens along with automatic exposure measurement feature for aperture settings and high key mode that allows users to capture brighter photos.
The camera uses Fujifilm’s Instax mini film cartridges to print 62 x 46mm sized photographs. The new Fujifilm Instax mini 9 comes packed with a 0.37x optical viewfinder and an effective flash, which range varies from 0.6 meters to 2.7 meters. It has a shutter speed of 1/60 seconds. The Fujifilm Instax mini 9 is powered by the two AA batteries (included in the box), which is rated to deliver up to 100 shots on a single charge. The Instax mini 9 measures at 116.0 x 118.3 x 68.2mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs only 307 grams without batteries, strap and film pack.
