You all will be ‘Sherlocked’ again! Yes, the 5th season of the blockbuster detective show, starring Benedict Cumberbatch as the cunning and super-deductionist, Holmes, will be arriving sooner, if not now. It has now been hinted by one of the show’s cast members, actress Sian Brooke, who played Sherlock Holmes’s sister Eurus, in season 4-her existence was just unknown to any of the viewers, until some penultimate episodes of the season.
Recently, during a media interaction, Sian Brooke, told:
“The show is such a gem of a series. It is a real page-turner. When I used to get the script come through, it would be like a little present!”
She told that she has been a fan of Sherlock, the show, herself and when she eventually got the chance to play a role in it, she was shocked. Even Brooke was unaware of the fact that she was going to play Holmes’s sister. “I had no idea I would be playing Sherlock’s sister until I actually got the part.”
Brooke was talking on the ITV’s “Lorraine” show, promoting her new season of the ‘Doctor Foster’ series, where she stars alongside actress Suranne Jones.
