Jaeden Lieberher in a scene from 'IT'

Andy Muschietti’s IT which is thrashing every record at the worldwide box-office, actually had an alternate ending! Yes, the best Stephen King adaptation to date and probably the most scary movie of the year was going to have a totally different climax. Jaeden Lieberher, who played the famed role of Bill in the film, revealed recently during a media interaction that the Losers’ Club was going to fight it out with Pennywise, aka ‘IT’, in an alternate way.

“I did have this scene where I climb up the tower at the end. When I’m chasing after Georgie, I climb the tower and I’m at a one-on-one confrontation with Pennywise and then I say that I’m not afraid of him, that none of the losers are afraid of him, and that’s how we beat him,” he told.

He continued further saying, “But they took those lines and put [them] toward the end, right after our big fight. So I had this whole thing where Bill Skarsgård is grabbing me and pushing me off the ledge, and I had to wear this harness. That was a more difficult scene.”

Bill Skarsgard as Pennywise in IT

Well, there is a good news now for all the ‘IT’ fans. When the movie will be released on Blu-ray later at the end of this year, it will also be including the Director’s Cut, that is, an extended footage of 15 minutes of deleted scenes. So, viewers will be able to get more of the characters and especially, Bill Skarsgard’s Pennywise, the ‘IT.’

‘IT’ is running successfully, across the globe.
