Gearing up for a release in less than 3 days, the synopsis for the highly anticipated action thriller Mersal has now been revealed.
The 100th production of Thenandal Studios Limited, Mersal directed by Atlee with a screenplay penned by Baahubali writer Vijayendra Prasad and a musical score by A. R. Rahman, the film was sent to the British Board of Film Certification where it was given a 12A certificate. Along with the certification, the synopsis too was revealed.
The BBFC synopsis reads as follows: “Mersal is a Tamil language action thriller in which a magician and a doctor who attempts to expose the corruption at the heart of India’s medical industry”.
This puts to rest to the speculations whether Vijay is indeed playing triple roles in Mersal or not.
Apart from the ‘Thalapathy’, the film also stars SJ Suryah as the antagonist, Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menen and Samantha Akkineni as the female leads followed by Sathyaraj, Vadivelu, Kovai Sarala, Motta Rajendran, Misha Ghoshal, Yogi Babu and Sathyan in vital supporting roles.
