Death is painful but inevitable. But dying at a young age is a whole lot of a different thing. Being in the showbiz musicians tend to get addicted to drugs or they live such a stressful life that it takes a toll on their body. This results in their early demise.
Many of the famous people lost their lives either by suicide or drug overdose or heart attack. It’s a sad thing that many of our favorite musicians left the world at an early age.

1. Aaliyah (22)
Aaliyah died in a plane crash on August 25th, 2001. She was returning to Florida from the Bahamas after shooting a music video.
2. The Notorious B.I.G (24)
Biggie Smalls was busy promoting his album ‘Life After Death’. He was returning to his hotel after a party when a black Chevy Impala stopped by his car and the driver shot 4 bullets which hit him in the chest. He was pronounced dead on 10th March 1997 at 1.15 in the morning.
3. Tupac Amaru Shakur (25)
Just like Biggie Small Tupac also died in the drive-by shooting. On the day of his death, he got involved in a fight and later on he was shot at a red light. He died on 13th September 1996 due to internal bleeding after repeatedly trying to get out of the bed.
4. Otis Redding (26)
On 10th December 1967, Otis had a performance at Factory Nightclub for which he flew with his band. The weather was pretty bad and just a few miles away from their destination, Madison the plane crashed in Lake Monona. Everyone died except Ben Cauley.
5. Amy Winehouse (27)
The singer and songwriter was found dead on 23rd July 2011 by her bodyguard. She was pronounced dead after her bodyguard found her lying on her bed motionless and called the doctor. The cause of death was revealed as alcohol poisoning.
6. Kurt Cobain (27)
On April 8th, 1994 Kurt was found dead at his home in Washington after he checked out from a drug rehabilitation center. He was found with a shotgun and according to the forensic reports, he died on April 5th. But according to a private investigator hired by Kurt’s wife, he was murdered.
7. Jim Morrison
The legendary rock star was found dead by his wife in a bathtub on July 3rd, 1971. The reason for his death was told as heart failure. No autopsy was performed because the French Law deemed it to be of no importance.
8. Jimi Hendrix
On 7th September 1970, Jimi was in London with his girlfriend and they talked and shared a bottle of wine. The next morning when Jimi’s girlfriend woke up, she found him unconscious and instantly called for an ambulance. The doctor pronounced him dead and the cause of the death was revealed as asphyxia.
9. Selena (27)
Selena’s family appointed Yolanda Saldíver as her boutique manager but she betrayed Selena. After knowing this Selena’s family insisted on the investigation but Selena valued her relationship with Saldíver and she met him two-three time in Saldíver’s hotel. On their last meeting, which was on 31st March 1995, Saldíver shot Selena dead in her hotel room.
10. Janis Joplin (27)
Janis Joplin was found dead by John Crooke. The autopsy report said that the cause of death was the heroin overdose.
11. Eazy-E (31)
Eric Wright was diagnosed with AIDS on February 25th, 1995. The statement was made public on March 16th and on 26th March he took his last breath.
12. Bob Marley (36)
The legendary singer died of cancer. He had a malignant melanoma in a nail of his toe. The doctor told him that it is a symptom of cancer and advised him to get his toe removed but he refused. Slowly it spread to his brain and he died on May 11, 1981, in Miami.
13. John Lennon (40)
The member of The Beetles was shot dead by Mark David Chapman on 8th December 1980. The singer was standing in the archway of his New York apartment when Chapman shot 4 bullets at him.
