It’s a biopic of Arunachalam Muruganantham who invented the low-cost sanitary pad making machines in the country after noticing the need of the hour condition of women. Now, the trailer for the film is released on social media and it is already making audience eager to watch the film. The trailer has made the wait more difficult for the fans of Akshay Kumar.
Interestingly, Mrs. Funnybones Twinkle Khanna, the better half of Akshay Kumar is the producer of this film. And the female lead is played by Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte. Sonam is playing the role of an activist/educator/social worker, while Radhika Apte is playing his wife. Twinkle Khanna mentioned the story of PadMan in her second book The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad.
Akshay Kumar who is already making the head turns for his forthcoming project with Superstar Rajinikanth is playing the role of protagonist in the film and his character name in the film is Lakshmikant Chauhan who works for the hygienic life of women during their menstruation time.
