Tieing knot with the one you love the most is the dream of every girl. She desires to take vows with the man of her dreams and wants to spend her life with her loved one. Love gives you the strength to face any evil and the same got happened with a very lovely couple.
The couple is Heather and the man of her dream David. They met in the year 2015, their love was blossoming in the year until they come to know that Heather is suffering from a deadly disease terminal breast cancer.
The couple planned to get married on December 30, 2017, but Heather’s health didn’t allow her to wait for more as cancer gets worsened. So, on 23rd December, David went on to propose her. This is the same day when Heather was diagnosed.
David told WFSB:
“She didn’t know I was going to propose her that night, but I said to myself, she needs to know she’s not going to go down this road alone.”
David arranged the proposal as:
“A pair of draft horses, a carriage, and I arranged it all for that night. We went out on the carriage ride and I proposed to her under a street light.”
Heather was very happy and she didn’t give up under the worst circumstances. Her last words became her wedding vows.
However, she lived the life of a married woman only 18 hours but their love will remain alive forever. David lost Heather but not her love.
