Bahubali was one of those rare South Indian movies that gained lot of praise and box office collection all over the country. The bilingual period-drama starred Prabhas, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannah, Anushka Shetty and Sathyaraj in the lead roles.
The movie has been creating lots of anticipation with the audience, ever since Bahubali- the beginning was set to release. ‘Why Kattapa killed Bahubali?’ has been the burning question for every other person who watched the film. The sequel, Bahubali- the Conclusion would not only answer this burning question but also unveil the story revolving around many other characters who were just introduced in the 1st part.
The 1st part released in July 2015 and set record for the highest box office collection in the country and overseas too. Since then, there has been lots of speculation about the sequel. Movie buffs were disappointed as the sequel didn’t release last year (2016). The sequel is now scheduled to run in theatres from April 28 2017.
While every other big budget, star-studded film always clashes against another movie of the same kind, Bahubali stands alone. There is no other movie that is scheduled to release on the same day as of now. Though it is a well-known fact that the sequel is sure to be a box office smasher, not having a clash, is making movie buffs hard to imagine the enormity of success the film would taste.
Some other star cast movies that are expected to clash this year are Shahrukh Khan‘s ‘Raees’ and Hrithik Roshan‘s ‘Kaabil’; Salman Khan‘s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and Rajkumar Hirani‘s Sanjay Dutt biopic and Shah Rukh’s ‘The Ring’ and Akshay Kumar‘s ‘Crack’.
