U.S. based audio equipment maker Bose on Thursday launched its two new latest Bluetooth speakers, dubbed as ‘SoundLink Revolve’ and ‘SoundLink Revolve+’ in India at a price tag of Rs. 19,900 and Rs. 24,500, respectively. Both the SoundLink Revolve and SoundLink Revolve+ speakers are designed to offer loud, spacious and crystal clear sound in all directions. The company says the omnidirectional range of sound is achieved through combining dual-opposing passive-radiators with a powerful, ultra-efficient transducer which is positioned face-down and a new patented acoustic deflector. The Bose SoundLink Revolve and SoundLink Revolve+ Bluetooth speakers will be made available in Triple Black and Lux Gray colour variants at Bose stores, Bose.com, and also authorised Bose dealers in the country.

“When SoundLink first hit the market, it took the industry by storm. We didn’t want to make small improvements to the audio that made it famous.  We wanted the difference to be so dramatic, that it would take just one song to hear the best sound you’ve ever heard from a little speaker — all over again.” said Glenn Gomes-Casseres, director of products for Bose wireless speakers.

The new Revolve speakers come in a cylindrical shape and a seamless aluminum design. The new Bluetooth speakers have no front-side or back-side as they offer 360-degree sound and feature a cylindrical shape. The speakers come with a small handle attached on top so that you can carry these speakers easily. The speakers are designed to spread sound uniformly in every direction with deep and immersive bass. Revolve speakers also feature a “pressure trap” to prevent all sorts of distortions for better sound experience.

Talking about its dimension, the Bose SoundLink Revolve measures 6-inch in height and 3.25-inch in depth and weighs around 660 grams. On the other hand, the Bose SoundLink Revolve+ measures at 7.25-inch in height and 4-inch in depth and weighs around 907 grams. SoundLink Revolve+ is slightly bigger version than the Soundlink Revolve. While the Bose SoundLink Revolve promises up to 12-hours of battery life, the bigger SoundLink Revolve+ provides up to 16-hours of playback time.

Both the speakers feature an IPX4-rating to withstand spills, rain and pool splashes. The bottom of the speakers comes with a quarter-twenty thread that makes it easy to mount these portable Bluetooth speakers on a tripod for listening in the yard and or any outdoor parties. Both the speakers can be paired with other gadgets using NFC connectivity.

Revolve speakers also feature plain-language voice-prompts for secured setup and integrate microphones to use as a speakerphone, or to talk to AI assistants like Siri and Google Assistant. The free Bose Connect app allows you to sync two SoundLinks –any combination, for any models starting with the SoundLink Color II. A Stereo Mode enables left-right pairing, and new Party Mode lets you play the same music on both simultaneously.
