The 43rd People’s Choice Awards was held on Wednesday night in Los Angles. It was a moment of immense joy for Ellen DeGeneres whose People’s Choice Awards count rose to 20 yesterday.

The people’s choice awards that is based on the results of voting reflects the people’s favourites every year. It is not the first time that Ellen has won this award. Yet, the medal of freedom winner exclaimed that this award brings in the most of happiness any other awards bring and thanked the people over their choice.

The 3 awards of glory she received this year are:

  • Favourite Daytime TV Show Host (“The Ellen DeGeneres Show”)
  • Favourite Comedic Collaboration (“Britney Spears’ Mall Mischief”)
  • Favourite Animated Movie Voice (“Finding Dory”)

The TV Talk show has been one of the most watched shows in the US and has many viewers across the globe too. The host, humanitarian and a person with many other portfolios, Ellen is indeed one of the most loved celebrities in the United States.

She received these awards from her very dear friend Justin Timberlake. Ellen who is known for her witty speech and dialogues said, “This is amazing, 17, I get; 18, sure; 19, I can see that; but 20 is outrageous.”

She is one of those TV hosts who has brought in to her show people of all cadres including media, activists, writers, etc. Interestingly, with the latest People’s Choice Awards she becomes one of the persons with the most number of awards.
