Huawei launches Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro with Android 8.0 Oreo OS, dual rear cameras: Here’s everything you need to know

After a series of many leaks and revelations, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei on Monday officially announced the launch of its two new premium smartphones, called the “Huawei Mate 10 and Huawei Mate 10 Pro” at an event in Munich, Germany. The freshly launched Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro are successors to the company’s previous Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro smartphones, which were released in November last year. The Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro now comes with several new upgrades in terms of built quality, power and performance. Talking about their main USP, both the smartphones come with 3D glass design, Water and splash resistant body, fingerprint sensor, Leica powered dual-camera setup, Google’s latest Android 8.0 Oreo OS, dual 4G VoLTE connectivity support and a powerful 4000mAh battery with SuperCharge technology support. However, the Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro packs the perfect blend of glass and metal design, premium build quality, style, and luxuriousness which are all associated with the Huawei brand.

Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro Pricing details and Availability:

Starting with the base model, the Huawei Mate 10 comes in one variant with 4GB RAM & 64GB native storage, while the high-end model Huawei Mate 10 Pro comes in two variants based on its RAM and internal storage configurations: Huawei Mate 10 Pro with 4GB RAM & 64GB internal storage and Huawei Mate 10 Pro with 6GB RAM & 128GB internal storage. Apart from this, the company also introduced a special variant, dubbed as the “Porsche Design Huawei Mate 10”, which also comes equipped with all-glass design, 6GB RAM & 256GB storage, and a custom Porsche Design interface. As for pricing, the Huawei Mate 10 has been launched with a price tag of EUR 699 (approximately Rs. 53,400), the Huawei Mate 10 Pro is priced at EUR 799 (approximately Rs. 61,000), while the special edition Porsche Design Huawei Mate 10 has been priced at EUR 1,395 (approximately Rs 1,06,600).

As for availability, the Huawei Mate 10 will be made available for purchase in over 15 countries, including Australia, China, Egypt, Malaysia, Singapore, Spain and more starting late October in Champagne Gold, Classic Black, Pink Gold and Mocha Brown colour options. The Mate 10 Pro will be available in over 20 countries including Australia, China, Egypt, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, UAE, Germany, France and more starting mid-November in Titanium Grey, Midnight Blue, Mocha Brown and Pink Gold colour options. On the other hand, the special edition Porsche Design Huawei Mate 10 will be made available for purchase in over 20 countries including Australia, China, Egypt, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Spain, UAE, Germany, France and more starting mid-November in Diamond Black colour option.
