Home-grown consumer electronics company iBall on Monday launched a new mid-ranged tablet, dubbed as the “iBall Slide Elan 4G2” in the Indian tech market at a price tag of Rs. 13,999. As of now, the company has not revealed the availability of the new iBall tablet in India but as expected it will soon be available at all leading retail stores across the country. The iBall Slide Elan 4G2 is the successor to company’s previous Slide Brisk 4G2 tablet, which was launched in January this year. The main USPs (unique selling point) of the new tablet are its 10.1-inch IPS HD display and a mammoth 7000mAh battery.

iBall Slide Elan 4G2 Specifications and Features:

In terms of specifications, the iBall Slide Elan 4G2 sports a 10.1-inch IPS HD display with a screen resolution of 800×1280 pixels. The tablet is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. In terms of memory, the iBall Slide Elan 4G2 comes packed with a 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. Talking about its software front, the iBall Slide Elan 4G2 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

In terms of optics, the iBall Slide Elan 4G2 comes equipped with a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED Flash. On the front, the tablet sports a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter for making video call and capturing selfies. The selfie camera also supports features like multi-angle, face detection and more.

In terms of connectivity, the iBall Slide Elan 4G2 supports various connectivity options including 4G voLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi hotspot, USB Tethering, Bluetooth, GPS, USB OTG, a 3.5 mm audio jack and a microUSB 2.0 port for charging and data transfer. Sensors on the device include an Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, Proximity sensor and Gravity sensor. The tablet is fuelled by a high-density 7000mAh battery with intelligent Power management which company claims it can save a lot of power in a day and deliver an entire day worth battery life. Further, it incorporates an additional DC pin charging port. The tablet measures 10.4mm (thickness) and weighs 575 grams.

Apart from its slim and lightweight design, the Slide Elan 4G2 tablet comes loaded with 9 Indian Regional System languages and 21 Indian Regional languages. It also features Cast Screen Technology, a technology that allows you to mirror your tablet to the TV or other external display devices, so you can enjoy your great content exactly as you see it on your tablet screen. In addition to these, the tablet also comes with pre-loaded apps such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint “stub apps”.
