There is a rough phase going for the film industry, this year. And there are always hits and misses and big misses. But the way it’s going for an Imtiaz Ali film and that too, starring King Khan in it, along with Anushka Sharma, is a big blow for every cinemagoer also-save for the trade analysts. Jab Harry Met Sejal is probably the biggest flop of this year, considering its star cast, content and the response after the release.
The movie has been crawling for a further breath on the box-office track. So far, the Imtiaz Ali directorial has collected just around Rs.58 crores-domestically!
It is really a disappointment for a Shah Rukh Khan movie and thus puts a full stop on his streak of giving hits since the last three years, and after this year’s Raees-which was also a hit.
It’s only just the second week and the movie was released last Friday. Now, considering this short period and a big down-fall, is hard to digest, for anyone.
