Except for an ugly affair between Kangana and Hrithik, that took the internet by storm, Kangana was not really seen in the silver screen. She was lastly seen in the movie Katti Batti along with Imran Khan. In the year 2016, there were no movies from her.
And Finally, she is back with a bang. Kangana will be seen Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon where she will be seen playing Miss Julia – a feisty actor. Set in 1940’s, the movie will see men falling on their knees for Miss Julia.
Rangoon story is all about a love triangle set up in the world war II. The movie is going to be released in a week. In a recent interview, Kangana said, “It’s an unusual film. The scale, the backdrop and the theme of the film are extraordinary. It’s not one of those films that are shot over 60 days and at safe locations – a house, a taxi. ‘Rangoon’ is a big scale film, it takes a director who has guts to take on a project like this.”
In this movie, Kangana is seen in love with Saif Ali Khan as well as Shahid Kapoor. In the interview, she was also asked about how she felt working with them, “Saif is funny, he makes you feel comfortable, he works with ease but Shahid is competitive and he rehearses a lot. He ensures everyone is in sync. But both are amazing.”
Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, it is their first alliance together. However Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan have worked with him in Kaminey, Haider, and Omkara, respectively.
