2.0 movie, the sequel to the box-office smash hit movie Enthiran has turned its marketing level all the way up to real awesome. It will be the first movie ever to use balloon to take forward its campaign to Hollywood now. Exploring a new campaigning idea through 100-feet balloon for a multi-dollar 3-D Sci-fi flick like 2.0 is indeed a bold idea that can work brilliantly, in our opinion.  A harmonious applause for Lyca Productions., that lines up perfectly with the kind of marketing ideas they have used on a 100-ft balloon.

A film about robots and action drama will have always the digital world at its fingertips when looking for marketing ideas, and Shankar’s 2.0 has done exactly that, in the run-up to the film’s release globally. When actors like Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar gets printed on balloon, Lyca Productions has pulled out the story and theme of the film in its marketing strategy. It is kudos from us.

Since the film 2.0 has been equalised in par with a  Hollywood production, the makers of the mvoie has  plan to tie up the balloon over the Hollywood signage in Los Angeles. Plus, the balloon will fly in other cities like Dubai, London, Australia and in many cities of India too.

Raju Mahalingam, creative head of Lyca Productions and  the unit head  of Rajinikanth-Akshay starrer 2,0  has twetted – “Test inflation successfully completed ! Waiting for weather clearance( depicting a balloon)”.  In another tweet from Robo Saknar reads: ‘’Super Duper Air Ballon for 2.0 point movie’’.

It is clear that now-a-days not just film makers but even public want great marketing films with amazing marketing campaign. Hence innovations advertising are faring much better even than the films that get released. So long promotions were made through teaser and trailer but now marketing campaign has to be something more brave and bold to one’s marketing strategy even
