One of the biggest and most iconic actors Indian cinema has seen, veteran thespian Mohanlal has done it all. And, it looks like there’s no stopping the National Award-winning actor as yet.
As per latest reports, it is believed the Malayalam superstar will join hands once again with National Award-winning director Priyadarshan after collaborating in several successful films over their long careers.
Reports indicate Mohanlal will be seen in a never-before-seen role in the upcoming project. It is said he will portray the role of a police trainer after having appeared as a cop in numerous films over the years. It must be noted that this will be a first time playing such a role for the Drishyam star.
Pre-production has apparently flagged off and production will roll out early next year. The duo came together for the smash hit Oppam released last year and will be looking to hire the jackpot once again.
Priyadarshan is at present busy wrapping up work on Nimir, the Tamil remake of the hit Malayalam film Maheshinte Prathikaram with Udhayanidhi Stalin while Mohanlal is fast at work with Odiyan and will soon begin Lucifer under Prithviraj Sukumaran’s direction and the magnum opus Randamoozham.
