Nokia is building its own under display fingerprint reader smartphone, which is rumored to be called Nokia 9 (or referred to as A1 Plus or A1P). After Vivo’s revolutionary X21 UD (under display) fingerprint reader phone, Nokia is also preparing itself for adapting to newly featured phones. The Nokia 9 or A1 Plus will be boosted by an upgraded camera and also the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC.

Also, the first UD fingerprint scanner smartphone by Nokia will come up with P-OLED display (made by LG). The phone will be built by FIH mobile. The phone’s under display fingerprint reader was initially slow to respond but that was resolved by using a thinner display glass. The display protection will be of Gorilla Glass 5 and screen size may be around 6.01inch.

This new beast from Nokia (after Nokia 8 Sirocco) might be unveiled in August or September.

Speaking more specifically, the unveiling of this Nokia 9 may be during the IFA 2018 event, which also takes place during September each year.
