The most admired couple in the recent past, Samantha & Naga Chaitanya have finally exchanged the betrothal rings. The couple who were reportedly dating each other for the past few years, made their relationship, a public affair, a few months ago.
Fans who were eagerly waiting to see the gorgeous couple tie the knot, are partly happy with their engagement news making the rounds. The couple got engaged yesterday (29.01.17) in Hyderabad in a private family affair. They are expected to be married by December 2017.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu is a South Indian actress who debuted in Tamil with ‘Moscowin Kaveri’ and stole the hearts of youth by her elegant performance in ‘Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya’ while she donned the lead role in its Telugu remake. Naga Chaitanya, son of veteran actor Nagarjuna Akkineni is one of the most successful actors in Tollywood. The couple have shared screen space together in 3 movies including ‘Manam’ and ‘Ye Maye Chesave’ that were blockbusters.
While there were lots of reports on the couple being in a live-in relationship, the couple’s families finally approved their childrens’ choice of partner. The engagement that was held yesterday, was a private affair attended by close circle of family members. Samantha looked extraordinarily gorgeous in her sari that was designed by Koesh. The actor too looked handsome in a suit.
Naga Chaitanya’s brother Akhil Akineni who was previously engaged to his long-time girlfriend, Shriya Bhupal also graced the occasion with his fiancé. The photos posted by Akhil and his father Nagarjuna went viral around the internet.
In an interview to the IANS, Naga Chaitanya promised that he would extent his utmost support and care to his loved one. He also said that he would not allow engagement to pose the threat for her career. He appreciated her sincere hard work that helped her reach such a position and that he would never be an obstacle for it.
