Home-grown mobile phone manufacturer Swipe Technologies on Monday expanded its “Elite” series of smartphone portfolio with the launch of a new budget-oriented smartphone, called the “Swipe Elite Pro” in the Indian smartphone market. Priced at Rs. 6,999, the new Swipe Elite Pro is now already made available for purchase in India exclusively via e-commerce website Snapdeal.com in White colour option. The economical price of this smartphone might suggest a device with weak performance, but the Swipe Elite Pro is designed to deliver an exceptional productivity experience as the smartphone comes equipped with an array of modern and smart features including 4G VoLTE support, fingerprint sensor, and 3GB RAM.

Talking about its specifications, the Swipe Elite Pro features a 5-inch HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 1280 pixels by 720 pixels. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a powerful 1.4GHz quad-core processor (unspecified maker) with a dedicated image processing unit. In terms of memory, the handset is backed up by a 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. Talking about its software front, the Swipe Elite Pro runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out-of-the-box. The Swipe Elite Pro also comes equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric security.
In terms of optics, the Swipe Elite Pro sports a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus and an LED flash module. On the front, the phone houses an 8-megapixel fixed focus front-facing shooter for capturing selfies. Connectivity options offered by the Swipe Elite Pro include dual-SIM, 4G with VoLTE connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM Radio, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microUSB port for charging and data transfer. On the battery front, the smartphone comes packed with a 2,500mAh battery that is rated to deliver up to 100 hours of standby time on a single charge. Sensors on the device include an Accelerometer sensor, Proximity sensor, Ambient Light sensor, E-compass and Fingerprint sensor. Dimensionally, the Swipe Elite Pro measures 143.4 x 71.8 x 8.7 mm and weighs 165 grams.
