It’s a Thor-mania going around the entire globe and India is no exception at the moment. The threequel in the God of Thunder’s franchise, has now minted Rs.50.38 crore on Indian box-office! That’s just insane keeping in mind the domestic releases which are performing rather slowly or poorly, due to, a) the Ragnarok impact and the movie’s fun/action element, and b) the other major cause being the ‘weak’ Bollywood films (Ittefaq). Although, Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana and Qarib Qarib Singlle have also been released in this month, but Ragnarok is outperforming them too.
The movie is just going strength to strength with each day and these are still the early days for this very important MCU movie before the biggest anticipated flick, next year, for every die-hard Marvel fan-Avengers: Infinity War.
Moreover, the ‘Revengers’ have blown away every other competitor on International box-office too! Ragnarok has now grossed a worldwide total of $650 million, in less than three weeks of its release! It combines the figures from its domestic cum of around $211.6 million and an International cum of $438.5 million.
The movie has been rated the best superhero movie in Marvel’s history, so far and is sitting proudly on top of the Rotten Tomatoes chart, with an astonishing score of 93%.
