Salman-Katrina’s Tiger Zinda Hai is still strong, going into its 3rd week! The movie is one week away from completing a month and even before that, it’s already become the best movie, in terms of collections, for Salman Khan!
Tiger Zinda Hai has now grossed a total of around Rs.318.86 crore in India alone!
In its first week, last year, the film had a blast, earning a staggering Rs.206.04 crore. Since then the blockbuster sequel to 2012’s Ek Tha Tiger has succeeded in maintaining a strong hold on the box-office, even in the new year! Another reason is that there is no other competition from any other big release. All the big-budgeted, and highly anticipated movies will be arriving after the next week.
Just recently, trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the overall earnings of Tiger Zinda Hai, according to each week.
#TigerZindaHai biz at a glance…

So, all this means that Tiger Zinda Hai will not only become the highest grosser for Salman, but will also set a new benchmark among the past bollywood films.
Another milestone that Tiger Zinda Hai is close to break, is Salman’s previous blockbuster, Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s domestic collection of around Rs.320.34 crore. And it seems quite simple at the moment; after all, Salman is competing with himself only.
