It feels like it was only yesterday when we used to have fixed hours for watching TV. And we used to save those hours for our favorite TV shows. The shows that we were easily able to connect to. Those shows made our childhood so much more fun.
The kids from 90s have seen it all, from Disney to Nickelodeon to MTV. At that point of time, we were not well acquainted with the Internet and mobile phones. Our source of entertainment were these amazing shows. These shows were a huge part of our fixed schedule.
Let’s have a look at what made our childhood and early teenage so much more memorable.
1. Lizzie McGuire
Lizzie McGuire was a show full of fun and teenage drama. The characters and dialogues were totally relatable.
2. F.R.I.E.N.D.S
Friends was an epic show. We still miss all of them and would do anything to get them all back.
3. The Suite Life of Zack and Cody
Zack and Cody were living every kid’s fantasy life. They were notorious, fearless and their problem-solving methods were just simply amazing.
4. That’s So Raven
Raven and her visions were absolute love. She was a very outgoing person and sometimes I just wanted to be like her.
5. Shaka Laka Boom Boom
Shaka Laka Boom Boom was nothing special except for the fact that it had a magic pencil which can practically get you anything in this whole world. I would have been Richie rich by now if I had a pencil like that.
6. Wizards of Waverly Place
Wizards, magic, drama, comedy and so much more. When it comes to epic shows Wizards of Waverly Place was on top of the list.
7. Hannah Montana
Hannah Montana was such a show that will make any girl want to dream big. Also, the dialogues and characters were to die for.
8. Khichdi
This show was inspired from regular Gujarati middle-class families but with craziest family members one could ever imagine.
9. Sarabhai v/s Sarabhai
The characters of this show had all kinds of variations. This show cracks me up even today.
10. Drake and Josh
The story of two step-brothers with opposite personalities was the funniest thing on television at that time.
11. iCarly
iCarly was a totally relatable and fun show to watch. Sam was savage, Carly was sweet and feisty, Freddie was such a cutie and Spencer was love. The best part of this show is that the dialogues come in handy even today.
12. Victorious
Victorious was a total teenage drama. The show had it all including relationships, high school drama, dreams, and career.
13. Shararat
This Indian show with three lady wizards was all I wanted to watch at that time.
14. Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin
A normal, ordinary girl with braces inspired all of us to dream big.
15. Sanjivani
The reason for most of the 90s kids adopting medical as a career was Sanjivani. It used to look so much fun working in a hospital that everyone wanted to be a doctor.
