After launching “Admire Joy” smartphone earlier this month, home-bred handset manufacturer Zen Mobile on Thursday added a new smartphone in its Admire series portfolio with the launch of an another 4G voLTE smartphone, dubbed as “Zen Admire Sense.” Priced at Rs. 5,999, the Zen Admire Sense offers various smart functionalities including 4G VoLTE support, digital assistant app, best in the class fingerprint sensor, and a sleek look and design. The new Zen smartphone will be made available for purchase through retail stores across the country in Champagne Gold and Blue colour variants.
In terms of design, the budget-oriented Zen Admire Sense looks very similar to its smaller sibling, Zen Admire Joy. The volume rockers as well as the power/lock buttons are placed on the right-hand edge of the device and the speaker grille is seen at the back side of the device. The front panel houses capacitive touch navigation buttons below the display while the top panel features the selfie camera, and the earpiece. The phone also features a 5-megapixel rear camera setup and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, located just middle of the device. A 3.5mm audio jack, and the charging port are all placed at the very top edge of the smartphone.

In terms of specifications, the Zen Admire Sense sports a 5-inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 480 pixels by 854 pixels. The device is powered by a 1.3GHZ quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. In terms of memory, the Zen Admire Sense comes with 8GB of internal storage that can be further expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. Talking about its software fronts, the new Admire Sense smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. The device also features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for bio-metric security.
In terms of optics, the Zen Admire Sense sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash. On the front, there is an another 5-megapixel camera for video calling and capturing selfies. The camera also comes equipped with features like Vistoso that allows users to print their favourite images on T-Shirts and mugs and a Fashin feature that helps user find the perfect apparel and clothing online by just clicking on the picture.
Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB OTG, FM Radio, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a MicroUSB port for charging and data transfer. The Zen Admire Sense is fuelled by a decent 2300mAh battery.
The Admire Sense comes with pre-installed Niki AI (artificial intelligence) – an application which enables conversational commerce on the device and avail crucial services such as mobile recharge and bill payments; cab and hotel bookings; events and movie ticketing; food ordering; home services and nearby search all by simply chatting with Niki.
